Re: 2021 Duster gear stick
Hi,
I bought with low miles and it does the same but as it's only very slight, it's nothing to worry about. There will always be a bit of movement due to the engine and attached gearbox rocking slightly on their mounts, and that in turn being transmitted through the gear linkage to the stick when accelerating and decelerating, I only notice it when driving if I have my hand on the gear stick.

It is normal to get some movement, which is even more noticeable when you are booting it.
Open some bonnets and watch someone give the engine a good reving and you will see it move, Some of them look like they want to take off without the car they can move that much, They are not bolted in ridgid they sit on rubber mounts to allow for movement if not things would break under the strain.
The gearstick is connected to the gearbox, which is bolted to the engine, So you will always get a degree of moment/vibrations felt through the gearstick. - but if you feel it is excessive get it checked.
