Hi every one.
Last week I traded in my first ever Dacia, a 23 plate Sandero Stepway Privilege which I bought new back in March of last year. I had traded in my Picanto for the Stepway because I needed more room for my fishing tackle and also wanted a car that would cope better with rough tracks and the like.
I had never considered a Dacia before but I have to say I was blown away by just how good the car was/is. Punching way above her price tag.
13 months later I found myself needing even more space now that a good mate of mine has taken up fishing and his Insignia can not cope with the rutted tracks that lead to our clubs pool.
This time instead of a Dacia only just making it onto my considering list it was the ONLY make on it! My only dilemma was Duster or Jogger. After being offered a cracking deal on a brand new Duster Journey I opted for one of those, not being a person who wants the latest up to date items (I fish with tackle built in the 1920's) I was more than happy to buy a soon to be replaced model.
I collect her on Wednesday, I will be very sad to see the Stepway go, she is a fantastic car but I am very excited about getting the Duster.

Hi Dustyduster,
You have good taste in cars - not that I'm biased of course.
The Jogger is HUGE inside, but if you don't really need all that space and seats the Duster is a perfect balance for anyone needing to carry loads with or without the seats down whilst at the same time being small enough to manouver in little car parks and various tight spaces. Good ground clearance too for rutted lanes and potholes etc!
I look forward to hearing how it goes when you collect her and seeing your new Duster should you share any photos

You are one amongst many that have started with the Stepway then moved on to a Duster.

I bought my Sandero Stepway Laureate dCi new in 2013 from what was Renault Wolverhamton. Had my warranty period servicing carried out there as well. They were the only dealer in the West Midlands at the time. I believe the nearest one to me now is at Stourbridge, I don't really know as my car has never gone wrong or needed parts (!) I used The Renault Specialist in West Bromwich to change the timing belt when it was due, less than half the price of a franchised dealer.

When we order our new car we will use
Startin Dacia - Worcester, Bath Road, Broomhall, Worcester, WR5 3HR
https://www.startingroup.co.uk/dacia/
we could have used Dacia SUTTON PARK STOURBRIDGE
99 NORTON ROAD
STOURBRIDGE, DY8 2TB
https://www.suttonparkgroup.co.uk/dacia ... idge-dacia
but found it small and the parking is not great
