New toys for the toolbox

Post by colin39 »

So made an executive decision today, im well known for not having enough tools, and bragging that i dont have enough spare tools πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ , spanner sets 6-34mm (3 differant sets 4 inc the ones in my breakdown box)
7-34mm ratchet 2 sets avaiation spanner to 24mm 2 sets
Sockets too many to mention, torque wrenches every flavor avalible including digital torque angle wrench 3/8 and 1/2inch lol.
So the 2nd pic shows a torque wrench 200nm-1000nm
The last picture is todays bargin a spare Facom 3/4 drive torque wrench that i picked up today for a mere Β£60odd
Result so i now have a spare one of those too

This is my breakdown box, it goes everywhere with me, it fits perfectly in the back of the duster, its tight but it fits.
6-32 mm spanners:- k-d usa
1/2inch sockets:- 8-34 Facom
3/8 sockets:- 6-19 Facom
1/4 sockets Facom nano set , i have 4 of these sets they are awesome
1/2 impact milwaukee 3/8 milwaukee impact and 3/8 electric milwaukee ratchet

The red box is my roll around cart, as our main tool boxes are in a secure room under cctv cant argue with that

Doesnt matter what you use bud, as long as it works.
I have alot of usa craftsman tools ,sold by harbor freight (like a walmart or asda) in the states, and tbh they are great tools.
My youngest 24 next week asked me what tools should he buy ,he works in a small garage learning the trade, and i said Halfords ,life time warranty good tools well made πŸ‘
He has a pretty in depth Halfords set and no debt from buying off the snappy/mac, insert other commercial truck tool brand here.
