Thanks Roger , right back at ya, having a day invoicing and checking bank and account program, it's taken us all day to find y neither bank and accountant program dont balance by 560 pound .
Joys of starting a new business I suppose 2 months in and doing great tho.

Good to hear about your new business Colin
Start with the Bank balance and latest statement then work back to the sales and purchase invoices - this advice came from the HMRC inspector himself, and they find everything right down to the last penny!!

The very best of luck Colin. I've been self employed most of my working life and although there are downsides, I wouldn't change anything.

Contracted myself out to councils they are so short on staff , pimped myself out to 3, five days a week. 10 hour days , and it's coming in nicely.
The issue we had was a glitch at the bank vs account program which are linked and a transaction wasn't recorded, but I new it was received so made a manual entry. Thursday the entry made it onto the bank , but then showed a double entry took us ages to find it

Now that's a handy trailer, there are times I could have used one of those to very good affect!

Lol, I'm doing about 100miles a day, it gets dirty fast
