Jogger with random bing sound
Hi everyone, new to group. Have recently purchased jogger hybrid extreme (lovely car) but randomly makes a bing noise like on an aeroplane randomly about every 2-3 minutes like a seatbelts not on but it is, any advice on what it could be? Regards Jon.

Hi Jon Fowkes,
Possible speed/accident black spot camera alerts or perhape more likely a warning you may have gone slightly over the limit springs to mind for starters? I'm assuming no warning lights are showing.

Speed alert
I live on Canvey, in the Y-uk, a place a little more exciting than a disappointing poo!!!

Do you have something sitting on passenger seat, bag or lunch box etc
Is your seatbelt clicked in fully
are all your doors shut properly
are you exceeding speed limit
are you approaching known speed cameras
Just some of the many things that can set off alerts

It might be the over speed warning. On newer cars this is turned on every time the car starts (even if you've turned it off in the settings).
However, there's a shortcut button you can press so you don't have to go through all the menus everytime.
There’s a button between the wheel and the car door (on my Jogger 2024) you can “double tap”. This will turn off the default safety preferences and turn your own on. Now you can set whatever you want.
I’ve recorded it here:
