Hi all, picking a new Duster up on Wednesday and got the handbook from the dealer to look at the ISA speed limiter and for the fuse box diagram to fit a dash cam. Talk about making life complicated with cruise and speed limiter ,probably all fall into place once i get my hands on the vehicle. As for the fuse box info. Wow about as much use as a chocolate fire guard Looks like I'm going to have to get the trusty AVO 8 out to hunt for permanent and switched lives. I'm of the era when cars actually came with a wiring diagram and radios and heaters were optional extras .

Which Duster did you opt for and what color did you choose?

The fuse box diagram is actually incorrect, the correct fuse positions are covered within the forum, a little search will reveal.

I and another member fitted a dash cam, I opted for a switched live when I fitted mine as I didn't require the parked mode option, again covered within our pages.

There are a few of us on here who can remember heaters being optional extras plus most radio's were fitted by 3rd party specialists before you collected the car - then along came the Japanese who had the audacity to fit them as standard, now look at all the stuff we have in cars

Hi its an Expression Tce130 4x2 and the colour is arizona, but its not its different .think it may be the new facelift colours ?

Been in the motor trade since 1970 so electrics not a problem ,was hoping the fuse box diagram may have been more useful than it is. Not to Worry have AVO 8 and digital meters . Going to fit both the permanent feed and switched feed for the dash cam. A switch in line on the permanent live gives the option of turning the park mode off.

AVO 8, That takes my mine back to when I was an apprentice electronics engineer in the '60s

@klive Nice color choice, it was a choice between that and Urban grey when I bought my latest Duster, the Urban grey was in stock so that clinched the deal due to the very short delivery time! The Arizona orange will be the same color as it was and it looks superb too, I think you'll be very pleased with it

The car took 4 days to arrive and i will be picking it up tomorrow ,the colour is not the same as the other arizona's at the dealers ,if i can i will try to get a picture of the two side by side . Just need to find some nice seat covers for it.

I passed one the other day, I thought that colour is different and had to turn my head for a second look and it was gone before I got a good look at it as I was not sure if it was the sunlight making it look a different shade as it seems to do with a few of the Dacia paint colors

That's very true Nessi, after seeing mine appear to alter you are likely right, the only difference in oranges I've seen is between the Arizona orange and Desert orange used on earlier models, but you never know.

Nice neat job and lovely car. Please do not take this the wrong way, but I would not take the cable past the grommet the way you have . The metal edge of the hole could over time cut into the cable especially if it gets warm in hot sunshine. Be much better to just make a hole in the grommet so it protects the cable.

Your correct but as the grommet is hard plastic i thought it would have the same effect. I have put a piece of tubing around it but you cant see it in as i wanted t it to be hidden and not come past the grommet. Having cut my teeth as an apprentice on Vauxhall cars i've seen the front oil seal on Vivas cut a deep groove into the pulley
